So Much To Do, So Much To See

You would think that with not having many clients here in Amarillo yet, and also not having a job I would have so much spare time. Nope, nope, nope, that’s certainly not the case! A lot has been going on around here lately.

This past weekend, Nathan and I went back to Lubbock and to Brownfield. We brought back some more of our stuff from out parents’ houses, but most importantly, we brought back my sweet Loki!

This is actually a photo from the day that we picked her up from The Rescue, (and just a quick snapshot  from my phone, nothing fancy), but I didn’t get a chance to take any new photos this weekend. But anyway, Loki is back with us now and that makes me so happy!

Next, we went to the Fall Festival at a church that I attended when I lived in Hereford, TX. It was so much fun! We went as Paula Deen and her favorite Butter Stick! It took people awhile to get it, but once they did, they typically thought it was pretty funny. Nathan and I love dressing up for Halloween. We have gone together as Mario and Princess Peach, Liz Lemon and Jack Donaghy from 30 Rock, Angry Birds, Luna Lovegood and Neville Longbottom (my personal favorite!) and last year we went as Minions! The festival was so much fun. We helped out with the bouncy house, to make sure none of the kids went too crazy, but it ended up with us jumping on the edge of the bouncy house’s slide to catapult the kids into the air. It was a good time!

Again, this is just a low quality phone picture… but I guess that’s the best you can get sometimes!

And finally, the last few days I have been working desperately to finish the thank you cards from our wedding. Finally, I see the light at the end of the tunnel! I got all of them done that I knew needed to be done, and tomorrow, I will get a couple of addresses from my family, and ask my mom whether or not I should send some to a few other people. Anyway, this is what the final stack of cards ended up looking like!

Thank you cards

It was a lot of work, but at least I had Taylor Swift’s new album, 1989, and my Harry Potter mug to keep me company!

So that’s what’s been keeping my week so busy. Hopefully soon I can start posting some of my archived photos, to show you guys some of my work! But until then…

xoxo
