It snowed for the first time this year today, and I loved it so much! Now, I would have loved it a bit more if it had been in the high twenties, rather than the teens… but hey, snow is snow and I love it all! I’ll share a few photos that I took of Nathan and myself in a minute, but first I will give you a update on what’s been going on around here! Loki is being a terror. Like bad enough that we might have to give her away if she doesn’t get any better and it makes me so sad. She broke out of our fence and got loose. A few people took pictures of her and put them on the lost pet sites in Amarillo. It was nice to get her back, but some people actually messaged me and told me that they are pretty sure she is part wolf. I looked up “wolf dogs” and sure enough she has a lot of the physical and traits and characteristics. I read that some of these behaviors, such as being afraid of EVERYTHING (including Nathan and me), as well as agression and misbehavior actually get WORSE over time, and that wolf dogs are 11 times more likely to hurt or kill humans, and I don’t like that statistic at all. It’s hard to think of giving her away, because I would miss her and I think she would miss me too, but lately she will hardly even come to me, so maybe she wouldn’t. Either way, it’s going to be a tough decision we have to make soon!
The Loki news was what has been weighing on me the most lately, but I have some other news too! We celebrated Nathan’s 26th birthday last night, which was fun! I got him a Keurig coffee maker, and we went to his favorite hibatchi steakhouse, It was a super fun night! And finally, for my last bit of news: I got a job! I know it seems odd that I wanted a job even though I want to kick start my photography business, but hey, I’ve got to make money somehow! And for right now, I just don’t have enough clients to make it work. Anyway, I am the new Market Segment Manager at Suddenlink Communications. I have been working there for a week and it has been so much fun. Everyone there is really great, and I can see myself working there for a long, long time! Well anyway, thanks for reading and I hope that you enjoy the photos of our snow day!
XOXO
